Mini-me

The guys at Tamar had their Christmas party last week, though I was too busy to attend myself (too busy keeping people dry outside - no time to party inside!). They did however honour me with some cocktail-umbrella mini-me's! Have a look at the photo below to see how much they love me.

A Time for Reflection

It's been so wet lately that I've been too busy keeping people dry that I haven't had much time to travel to any exotic places. But I've still been managing to get myself infront of the lens - even if it's just in reflection...

Where has summer gone?

Since summer seems to have disappeared faster than a rat up a drainpipe (see what I did there? I am umbrella...!) I have decided instead to focus my energy on getting excited about the holiday season. In preparation for the darker months, I took a trip today to Christmas common in Berkshire!

This Saturday was a great day for being English, and what is more English than an Umbrella? I spent the day at Hyde Park watching the Last Night of the Proms with a cosy audience of 10,000+ other fans...

It's tiring being a traveller

I'm often ask how I cope with travelling around so much, is it stressful and where do I stay? Well, I can answer the last question right now - I put myself up in very nice hotels like the one below. I fund my travels by the proceeds of a patent I took out on Velcro in the early 80s, and a little known Christmas Number 1 which I actually wrote...

Last week I was in the sunny south of France, where I spent most of my time on the beach, eating ice creams. Here's me enjoying the view on the terrace.

Messing about on the water

Here I am on one of the fantastic RIB boats in Minorca, messing about on the sea. I'm having a great time, it's one of the sunniest places I've been so far but I'm not letting that get me down!

The rain in spain...

...seems mostly non-existent, quite frankly. I've been in Minorca for a few days now, and it hasn't rained at all! At least I have other things to keep me busy, like trying out my life-guarding skills...
